A Program Co-Sponsored by AAUW and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
Sunday, April 30, 2 p.m., at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Meetinghouse, 108 School Street, Bennington.
As of October 2022, Bennington has been designated a refugee resettlement site. What does that mean? Jack Rossiter-Munley, Case Manager and Interim Office Lead with the refugee resettlement agency operating here in Bennington will talk above refugee resettlement. He will share information about how resettlement happens and all ways that the community can support resettlement efforts.
The project in Bennington is connected to the Ethiopian Community Development Council (ECDC) in Brattleboro, which is focusing on resettling Afghan refugees.
The ECDC has sites across the country with different emphases.
