* Saturday, September 21 at noon. Fall Pot Luck.  We always have a great time reconnecting with friends and sharing summer experiences over tasty dishes and luscious desserts. Friends and potential members are welcome! Location: The Old First Church Barn, Old Bennington, VT. Bring a salad, side dish, main dish, or dessert to share.

* Wednesday, September 18 at 1 pm. Book Group. Location: UU Meetinghouse
The Chancellor: The Remarkable Odyssey of Angela Merkle (2021) by Kati Marton. The remarkable rise and political brilliance of Angela Merkel, ex-chancellor of Germany, from her East German childhood to her leadership of the West. Merkel was hailed as the world’s most trusted leader in 2020.  All members are welcome.

* October, date tbd. Vermont Candidates Forum.  The purpose is to have participants become more familiar with House and Senatorial candidates from districts 2 and 5. This program is open to the public. Location: tbd
