Each year, the Vermont Humanities Council offers small grants to libraries and partner organizations for programs related to the “Vermont Reads” selection for the year. We are proud to announce that we are partnering with the McCullough Library in North Bennington and Brookdale Fillmore Pond on a series of events related to the background and themes of this year’s selection—Last Night at the Telegraph Club. Free copies of the novel are available to AAUW members. Write to Berta Winiker at Bertleberries@yahoo.com to get your copy. Members are encouraged to attend the events whether or not they read the book.
