April 17 at 2 pm: Tea with Jackie. Join us to screen a video called the “Making of From Corsets to Combinations” and have a cup of tea.
We’ll watch a short video: The Making of From Corsets to Combinations,” the suffrage program that was the highlight of our AAUW summer. Jackie will show behind-the-scenes takes from the film and will talk her experience producing this program—the highlight of last summer for so many of us. May 8 at 3 pm: On Saturday, May 8, at 3-4 pm (EST), Shane Hartline, Director of “Cookie” will join the AAUW Bennington Branch from the West Coast for a program that is part of our 2021 focus on issues of Diversity,Inclusion and Equity. This young filmmaker will be showing the short dramatic film he made last year, starring a waitress and aspiring actress with a voice disorder, and then talking about his own career as an actor and filmmaker with Spasmodic Dysphonia.
